The Core School is the largest audiovisual hub in Europa and it's located in Madrid. As the Educational Hub of international reference for professionals in the audiovisual leisure and entertainment industry.
The primary aim of the project was to discover the optimal method for providing functional lighting while preserving the vibrant energy of the younger generations. To this end, ProtoPixel collaborated with deardesign to develop six distinct lighting contents using the ProtoPixel Mapping Tool, a lighting design software. Each of these designs creates a unique and specific atmosphere tailored to different moments in a student's day.
To manage the luminaires, ProtoPixel employed a Long Range control device suitable for medium to large installations such as this atrium, along with a Node, the central control unit of the entire project. This setup allows to update and deploy designs anywhere and at any time.
